Valenti takes out JJ Lusick Trophy for umpiring

South West Field Umpire, Cameron Valenti was acknowledged on Saturday for his officiating at the Nutrien Ag Country Championships awarded with the prestigious JJ Lusick Trophy for best Field Umpire across the competition.

Valenti, who has umpired 164 games, and the last three SWFL League Grand Finals was one of fourteen South West umpires to officiate at the Championships.

Valenti also took charge of the Division One Grand Final, along with Zac Schurko (Peel) and Marc Worobec (PFL) in the decider between Peel and South West.

South West boundary umpires Asher Bourke and Toby Walker also officiated in the Division One decider.

Braden Surrall and Talen Guthrie were two of the field umpires in the Division Two grand final, along with boundary umpire Cohen Matthews.
