U3A to welcome expert this Friday

Dr Alexey Muraviev will be at the Geographe Bay Yacht Club this Friday afternoon to present a talk on the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project.
Naturaliste U3A (University of the Third Age) will host their next Topical Talk on Friday July 18, with Dr Alexey Muraviev, Associate Professor of National Security and Strategic Studies at Curtin University, stopping at Geographe Bay Yacht Club from 2pm to recognise the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo – Soyuz Test Project.
Dr Muraviev is a multi-award-winning strategic affairs analyst, and has published widely on matters of national and international security, and will present “Space Odyssey or Star Wars – Space as an arena of competition and conflict – or cooperation?”
Naturaliste U3A Inc was formed in 2009 and offers talks and courses on subjects like art, conversation, computers, crafts, classical studies, film and cinema, history, languages, music, and science, as well as on activities like games, health, theatre, books and travel.
