Swing into the Hilton for final Fringe celebration

This weekend brings the final shows and events for the 2025 Busselton Fringe Festival, with the month-long program concluding in a stylish evening of live jazz, fine wine, and vintage sophistication at the Hilton Garden Inn.

The festival has delivered a packed lineup of theatre, cabaret, comedy, live music and art across the region, with audiences of all ages delighted by a range of activities and entertainment including family friendly fun to cheeky, adult-oriented fare.

To close the festival, Swing by the Bay will kick off upstairs at the Hilton from 6.30pm on Saturday, 22 March, promising to transport guests to an era where jazz reigned supreme, with the atmosphere of intimate speakeasies and grand swing halls setting the stage for evening of music, movement, and refined indulgence.

Guests are invited to dress in their finest and embrace the timeless glamour of the swing-era.

The evening will feature a live performance by jazz quintet Local Vintage – known for their chic vocal tones, velvet saxophone, and an impeccably tight rhythm section, the band is the real deal when it comes to authentic swing and jazz, with echoes of Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, and Oscar Peterson.

In addition to the world-class music, Swing by the Bay will offer an evening of refined entertainment and indulgence, including a curated selection of wine, beer, or bubbles on arrival, and gourmet canapés designed to complement the elegance of the night.

Guests can even try their hand at a game of poker, evoking the charm and intrigue of the jazz age at the closing event of the Busselton Fringe festival.
