Pioneer Park and the Augusta Hotel will again play host to a popular series of concerts, offered free to locals and visitors as part of Arts Margaret River’s annual calendar.
The ‘Sunday Sundowners’ are family-friendly concerts featuring a lineup of local musicians and bands, which bring crowds to the South West towns for an evening of entertainment from 5pm to 7pm.
Arts Margaret River’s Christopher Young encouraged all to attend, with the first concert at the Augusta Hotel on Sunday, January 19.
“The Sundowners support local musicians and enable Arts Margaret River to give back to our community, and for the community to be exposed to differing music styles,” he said.
“Importantly, it enables low income families within the district the opportunity to attend a concert.
“Friends and family, some comprising four generations, gather with their picnic on the lawn and delight in the location, ambience and music.”
The Cowaramup concerts are on Sunday February 9, Sunday February 16 and Sunday February 23.
