It was a huge night in the centre of Dunsborough on Friday for the town’s annual street party, where 1800 people headed to the main street for live music, a huge selection of local food from Indonesian to burgers to gourmet hotdogs and tacos, art, games and community spirit.

Organisers thanked residents, local businesses and the hardworking volunteer committee who gave their time to make the event a success.

A Bendigo Bank-supported art activation saw local artist Sherrise Todd create a stunning fish-themed mural, with partygoers of all ages adding to the work during the night.

The artwork will soon be displayed at Dunsborough Marketplace for the community to enjoy.

All vendors and suppliers were sourced locally, with a focus on sustainability and waste management thanks to sponsors, Plico Energy.

The City of Busselton is providing funding support for the event for three years, and organisers said they were looking forward to bringing the party back n 2025.
