Fans took just hours to snap up tickets to one of the country’s hottest music festivals, set to land in Busselton in May with some of Australia’s best bands joining the lineup.
The concept sees the radio station roll into regional towns and cities with major Australian acts in tow, with previous locations including Collie and Geraldton.
The ticket buying frenzy began on Thursday after radio station Triple J spent the week prior dropping “clues” across its social media platforms, hinting that Busselton could be the next stop on the festival program.
Music lovers took around 6 hours to secure all the tickets to the Saturday, May 24 show, which includes beloved WA band Spacey Jane, LUUDE, Ruby Fields, 3%, Blusher, Velvet Trip, and a soon-to-be-announced local triple j Unearthed competition winner.
“We knew the South West would come through in big numbers for this lineup, but we’re blown away at how quickly these tickets have gone out the door,” Head of triple j, Double J and ABC Country Lachlan Macara said.
“To sell out in under 6 hours says a lot – and it says it very loudly – about the appetite for live Australian music in regional areas.

“Almost 50 percent of all ticket holders are 24 and under, showing just how keen young Aussies are for this experience. Busselton – we cannot wait to put on an unforgettable show for you come late May!”
The event is a one day, all-ages, drug and alcohol free event and all ticket proceeds are donated to Support Act, The Push, Undalup Association and Karri Karrak Aboriginal Corporation.
