School farewells graduating students

Students from Margaret River Independent School marked the end of the year with their recent graduation, farewelling their Year 6 cohort as they move into high school for 2024.

As part of the MRIS tradition, the Class of 2023 were presented with a framed copy of their own artwork as a keepsake from their time at the school.

The 21 students were congratulated by their fellow classmates as well as MRIS Principal, Wendy Roediger, Year 6 teacher Laura Nicolls and Teacher Assistants, Jacki Connew and Belinda Heussenstamm.

The school’s End of Year Concert was once again a great success with students from Kindy to Year 6 performing songs, dancing and taking part in this year’s production of ‘Pinocchio’.
