Pristine conditions for Injidup surf round | Photos

The Indian Ocean Longboard Club (IOLC) held its second Club Round of the season on Saturday 15 March, and what a lovely day it was!

With pristine conditions at Injidup, competitors and spectators alike were treated to a picture-perfect backdrop for a day of surfing and camaraderie.

The event, proudly sponsored by Lenton Brae, concluded with club round presentations at their venue.

Throughout the afternoon, members gathered to celebrate the day’s performances, accompanied by some live music and a welcoming atmosphere.

There was even a friendly four-legged host, Buddy, who added to the charm of the afternoon.

Other sponsors on the day included Moonshine Surfboards, Ocean & Earth, and Don’t Dairy.

The Gill Waman Handicap Winners of the day included Michael Fisher, Dave Burton, Doug Carruthers, Courtney Wigger-Smith, Bill Gibson and Amy Blakemore.

The Indian Ocean Longboard Club is welcoming new members and sponsors for 2025 and would like to hear from anyone interested in joining or supporting the club.

The next club round will be held on May 4, meeting in Yallingup in the morning.
