More than 5000 patrons rolled up for Saturday’s Margaret River Show to enjoy an action-packed program of entertainment, exhibition competitions, sheep dog demonstrations, food and fun.

Record entries at the Exhibition Hall saw locals bake, grow and create more than 1200 exhibits, with Arie Dean taking out the coveted President’s Award.

Arie’s copper bonsai tree was a stand out.

Margaret River Produce and Pet hosted the ever-popular Pet Show, with a great turn-out of pampered pets.

Performances, sheep dog displays, food vans, trade stalls, show rides and sideshow alley kept crowds busy until the spectacular Retravision family fireworks display closed out the day.

Lara Armstrong, Margaret River Show President said the Show is an important event in Margaret River’s calendar.

“The Show allows everyone to come together in one place to celebrate our talents and enjoy each other’s company.”

“Huge thanks to our stewards and volunteers, sponsors, performers, exhibitors, traders, food suppliers and everyone who contributed, especially our small but mighty committee.

“We need more people to help with next year’s Show, so please get in touch online.”
