Nominate locals for City of Busselton awards

Locals of all ages can be nominated in the 2025 Auspire Community Citizen of the Year Awards, open until October 31.
The City of Busselton is calling for locals to nominate a local legend for the 2025 Auspire Community Citizen of the Year Awards.
The awards celebrate remarkable achievements and inspiring contributions of individuals and groups who offer a positive impact to the local community.
“We are very fortunate to have many community organisations and individuals who go to extraordinary efforts, dedicating their time, skills and compassion to improve the lives of others,” Busselton Mayor Phill Cronin said.
“These Awards are a wonderful opportunity to recognise those who go above and beyond and make our City an even better place to live.
“I encourage locals to nominate people who have made a difference in their lives and in their community.”
The Awards recognise people and groups across WA who have made significant contributions to their local communities, with categories including Community Citizen of the Year, Young Community Citizen of the Year (16 – 30 years old), Senior Community Citizen of the Year (over 65 years old) and Active Citizenship (Group or Event).
Award winners will be announced at the 2025 Australia Day and Citizenship Ceremony on Sunday, 26 January 2025.
Nominations can be made at citizenshipawards.com.au, with the nomination window closing on Thursday October 31.
