New film to feature familiar South West spots

Margaret River residents with a keen eye may have noticed a group of filmmakers making their way through the region.

They are working on 2023 CinefestOz Cinesnaps winner and local resident Joshua Yates’ latest film.

The region’s businesses and groups have been supportive of the production team’s endeavours, with Dear Darnell’s, Yahava, Doust’s Corner, Margaret River Senior High School, the Margaret River Community Centre and Wallcliffe Fire Brigade all getting involved to help create some Hollywood movie magic right in the heart of the community.

Filming on the project is almost complete, with final scenes being wrapped by the young creatives, backed by local actors, extras and crew of all ages.
