Sasha Cameron will unveil her exhibition, 'Nature's Window' this week.

A new exhibition at the Margaret River HEART will celebrate the latest works from a young local emerging artist.

Living locally with her nine-year-old son, Sasha Cameron works from home as a full-time mum and part-time artist, drawing inspiration from the beauty of Wadandi Boodja.

With a passion for the natural world, her preferred mediums include watercolour, acrylic, graphite, and watercolour pencil.

“Sasha’s artwork captures the beauty of the Western Australian environment, highlighting her keen eye for detail and inviting viewers into moments of stillness with her subjects,” Arts Margaret River’s Christopher Young said.

In her upcoming exhibition, ‘Nature’s Window,’ Sasha collaborates with the local flora and fauna of the lower South West.

The collection reflects her ongoing studies of the local environment, exploring both refined watercolour techniques and a looser, expressive multi-medium style.

“Sasha’s captivating and unique artwork invites audiences to connect more deeply with nature, fostering a sense of belonging and care that inspires efforts to protect our precious ecosystems,” Mr Young said.

“Attendees can expect an immersive experience filled with vibrant colours, intricate details, and thoughtful reflections on the natural world.”

‘Nature’s Window’ runs from June 5 to June 26 at the Mezzanine Gallery at HEART. A launch will be held on Friday, June 6 from 6pm to 8pm.
