Mitre 10 in the pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month

October 11, 2024 BY

Join the Mitre 10 team and help them hit their $5000 fundraising target this month.

The team at Margaret River Mitre 10 has ‘gone pink’, transforming the store with donation boxes and pink decorations ahead of a major fundraising day later this month as part of a national campaign to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation.

Funds raised will go towards the appointment of rural cancer nurses for those experiencing cancer in rural and remote locations around the country.

The events coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness month, happening throughout the month of October, and the store is calling on customers and locals to help them reach their target of $5,000 for the foundation.

The Family Fun Day will be on Friday October 26 from 9am to 2pm, with a sausage sizzle ($5 donation), photo booth, face painting and a fire truck onsite, as well as raffle prizes across the entire day and major prizes donated by Puretec and local plumber, Chris Yates.
