Busselton have defeated Harvey Bulls in the Tronox Women’s Preliminary Final, setting up a third consecutive Grand Final against Bunbury next Sunday afternoon at Hands Memorial Oval.
In somewhat of a strange match, Harvey Bulls dominated large portions of the match but couldn’t buy a goal, while Busselton maximised on their opportunities to win by twenty six points.

The Magpies started brilliantly kicking the opening two goals within the first eight minutes, and when Havana Milner kicked the second goal, the Magpies were fourteen points in front.
The Bulls then started to gain possession but weren’t able to score.

The Bulls completely dominated the second quarter, keeping Busselton scoreless, but weren’t able to capitalise on that dominance, managing just two behinds for the quarter.

Busselton blew the game open with three quick goals in the third, putting the match beyond the reach of the Bulls, who still were yet to kick a goal.
In the final term, the Bulls again totally dominated, with the ball not entering the Magpies forward line, however the Bulls managed four behinds, when goals were what they desperately needed.
Ellie Drown and Maddy Obal played well for the Magpies, who will now face Bunbury in next Sunday’s Grand Final.
