Learn from the best: Karate experts in town this weekend

Current National Women's Kumite Champion Olivia Clifford (right) will be at the Margaret River Karate Club this weekend.
The Western Australian Karate Federation will host a Regional Karate Training seminar and free ‘Come and Try’ karate session alongside the Margaret River Karate Club this weekend.
The event will embrace two kata and kumite training sessions – for current and future students of Shotokan karate.
Leading the sessions will be 5th Dan Goju Kai Karate and current State Kata and Kumite coach Brigit Wall, as well as 4th Dan Japan Karate Association – SKC and current State Kumite Coach Graz Prinsloo.
Current National Women’s Kumite Champion Olivia Clifford will also be in attendance, before she joins the Australian team at the Karate World Cup National Team Championships taking place in Pamplona, Spain in late November.
The first session will be held on Saturday November 2 from 2pm to 5pm, followed by a second session on Sunday November 3 from 9am to 12pm.
