It was an awesome day of tennis on Sunday at the Margaret River Tennis Club, which hosted the Fuel To Go & Play 2024 Annual Junior Tennis Tournament.
A total of 26 players from 7 to 16 years old took part, with more than 25 spectators cheering them on in their orange ball, green ball and yellow ball divisions.
Every court was occupied and there were plenty of healthy options to eat and drink, with players encouraged to be their best on and off the court, choosing healthy options for the Fuel To Go & Play.
“I was really pleased with the turnout,” MRTC Club Coach Anthony ‘Tambo’ Tamborriello said.
“It was great fun to host this annual tournament for our juniors and see their skills on display!
“A huge congratulations to all our junior players- you are the future of tennis, and we couldn’t be prouder for you to be part of the Margaret River Tennis Club.”
The Club gave special thanks to Tamborriello and ‘Tambo’s Tennis’ for organising the tournament, and to Tennis West for grant support through a longstanding partnership with Healthway and Fuel to Go & Play.
