Junior rugby club rocks One Night Stand festival

A crowd of 15,000 headed to Barnard Park on Saturday for the One Night Stand festival.

WA icons Spacey Jane led the lineup, joined by LUUDE, Ruby Fields, 3%, Blusher, Velvet Trip and Busselton’s Fool Nelson.

The Busselton Junior Beetles Rugby club grabbed the opportunity to raise money for their club, when triple j offered them the chance to take part. With some ‘bartenders’ having played rugby that morning, the crew sold drinks and some of their infamous beanies.

“It was a fantastic atmosphere and a great night was had by all – thank you to triplej for the opportunity and thank you to our sponsors, without whom it couldn’t have happened – Vasse Vets, Ray White Stocker Preston, South West Surfacing and MacDonalds Vasse,” the club’s Joe Davis said.
