Joyful celebration at HEART to support Margi Pride

Arts Margaret River will host a special preview screening of The Wedding Banquet, Andrew Ahn’s (Fire Island) fresh new take on Ang Lee’s 1993 queer classic, in support of local LGBTQIA+ group, Margi Pride.
Featuring an acclaimed cast of multigenerational talent, including Bowen Yang (Wicked), Lily Gladstone (Killers of the Flower Moon), Kelly Marie Tran (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Han Gi-chan (Where Your Eyes Linger), Joan Chen (Saving Face) and Youn Yuh-jung (Oscar winner, Minari), the film is a joyful, exuberant and contemporary take on romantic comedy.
The Wedding Banquet will screen at the HEART on Saturday June 14. Doors open 6pm for cocktail hour then movie commences at 7.15pm. Tickets include a glass of wine or beer. Book at artsmargaretriver.com
