Supporters of Busselton Hospice Care Inc braved frosty conditions on the foreshore on Saturday to take the plunge into the icy waters of Geographe Bay.

Held as part of the organisation’s Go Blue For June fundraising campaign, the event saw swimmers of all ages jump into the water at sunrise, before heading to nearby Shelter Brewing Co for hot drinks and warm snacks.

The campaign has also been embraced by the local business community, with many outlets and offices decorated in shades of blue and bearing donation tins.

Go Blue For June events continue for the rest of the month, including the inaugural Bed Run from the Geographe Bay Yacht Club to the Busselton Jetty this Saturday June 28 from 10am.
