Final contest for Cow Bay boardriders

Cowaramup Bay Boardriders held their final event on October 27 at North Point, with surfers displaying fantastic skills, particularly novice and junior surfers demonstrating their improvement.

The club offered congratulations to all winners, and thanked Squid Lips and West Oz Surf Wax for backing the final event.

Following the competition, end of year presentations were held at the Gracetown Hall, with Jetaya Hammond named Clubman of the Year and Olive Hardy Clubwoman of the Year.

Ethan Ahola took out the Hellman award, while Lennox Hayward received the Ry Dempsey Memorial Award.

End of year prizes were donated by Sessions Surf Shop, Ed Scissorhands, Tim Beeson, Gracie’s General Store, Yallingup Beach Surf Shop, Yena Apparel and Moon Haven.
