Fever player named MVP in grand final victory

In an exhilarating Under 14 Netball final, the Thunderbirds emerged victorious over the Vixens with a decisive 40-24 win.
The match showcased the exceptional talent and teamwork of both teams, but it was the Thunderbirds who ultimately dominated the court.

The Thunderbirds’ standout players included Elise Voight Jackman, who controlled the game from the Centre position with remarkable agility and precision.
In defence, Isla Drake Brockman and Sophia Burges were formidable, thwarting numerous Vixens’ attacks.
Meanwhile, Macy Breslin and Aimee Bosman led the charge in attack, consistently finding the net and keeping the scoreboard ticking.

Despite the final score, the Vixens put up a commendable fight.
They made a significant comeback in the third quarter, outscoring the Thunderbirds 9 goals to 3.
A strategic move saw Halle Jack shift from defence to attack, where she teamed up effectively with Stella Male, adding much-needed firepower to the Vixens’ offense.
