Margaret River-based world folk musician Nina Suriya will play a farewell gig this Friday evening at the Old Church Hall at the Community Centre, before hitting the Nullarbor to continue her travels.
You may have heard her sweet, strong voice in the last year at the HEART for Arts Margaret River, the Farmers Market and Sam’s Chapel – home of Witchy Words and Music, where she has been a regular for stunning solo and collaborative gigs.
Wrap your ears around brand-new original material and let yourself be transported through genres, ranging from jazz, traditional Irish/English/Scottish folk, funk, to bluegrass, to classical Indian.
Special guest Charmaine will open the evening and open your heart with angelic original songs, accompanying herself on harp.
Grab yourself a ticket for $25 at https://events.humanitix.com/nina-suriya or at the door at The Old Chapel Tunbridge Street, Margaret River Friday August 23, from 6-8pm.
