Exhibition Hall entries open ahead of Ag Show

Ag Show organisers are also seeking volunteer stewards to assist during the benching and judging process.
Early Bird Family Pass tickets are now on sale for the Margaret River Ag Show, coming up on Saturday October 19.
Passes are available to purchase online ($40 for 2 adults/2 children, additional kids $5). Standard entry is $15 (Adults), $10 (Children 5-17) with free entry for kids under 5.
The Show returns with its single-day format, capped off by the Retravision fireworks display.
Organisers urged locals to start making and creating their entries for Exhibition Hall competitions, with details available on the Ag Show website.
There’s art, cooking, craft, damper and sourdough, flowers and plants, fruit and vegetables, Lego, quilting, photography, preserves, produce, textiles and more for locals to show off their work.
Registrations open today and close at 12pm, Wednesday, 16 October.
Exhibition Hall entries are a crowd favourite, with locals participating in a range of arts, crafts, baking and gardening, which are then displayed during the Show at the Rec Centre basketball courts.
More than 1000 entries were received ahead of last year’s Show.
Exhibition Hall co-ordinator Jude Lentjes said school holidays were the perfect time to plan out your winning entries.
“Now is the time to get painting, photographing, quilting, making your Lego creation, or planning your baking delights,” she said.
“Registration online is easy and quick.
“This is the third year we have had paperless entries and we’ve found the community has really embraced the process.
“Entering online is convenient, saves paper, and ensures no last minute queuing.”
Ag Show committee members will be regularly available to assist those without computers access, or need extra help.
Organisers are also seeking volunteer stewards to assist during the benching and judging process.

If your business is looking to take up trade space, registrations close 5 October.
Show President Lara Armstrong said excitement was building, with the Show only four weeks away.
“The Show brings so much joy, in so many ways and we are delighted to be staging it again with more things to do and see and something for the whole family to enjoy,” she said.
