Entertainment program promises family fun for all

The Margaret River Show promises to deliver a packed day of fun and festivities, capped off by the annual Retravision Family Fireworks.

Free entertainment will include performances from bands, dance groups and choirs through to closing band ‘Hey Ramona’ who will take to the stage before the fireworks display.

The popular Pet Show, sponsored by Margaret River Produce and Pet is an early must see, while a silent disco, pony rides, face painting, Radrock climbing wall and obstacle ropes are also among the free activities.

Discover Deadly and Eagles Heritage will give attendees the chance to get up close and personal with feathered friends and scaly friends. Show rides are back, with favourites like dodgem cars and bouncing trampolines returning.

Trade stands will showcase artisans and local creatives selling their wares, while food trucks and stalls will offer lots of delicious choices including donuts, churros, ice-creams, coffee, pizza, burgers and snacks.

Local emergency services will be onsite with vehicles and equipment, and there will be plenty of agricultural fun including sheep dog displays by Marionvale Working Dogs, and McDonald’s Farm petting yard.

Radio Margaret River will broadcast live from the Exhibition Hall, reporting on the latest winners and playing great tunes while locals take in the huge array of entries competing for prizes.

Pepper the cow will also be in attendance for the Show’s cow pat lotto fundraiser, with ticketholders grabbing the chance to land $2000 if Pepper poops in their lucky square. Lotto tickets are only available online before the Show opens, and can be purchased via the website.
