The Dunsborough Street Party returns to town this month, promising a spirited evening of entertainment, food and family-friendly fun.
With last year’s inaugural event – a reboot of the Hannay Lane Festival from years gone by – packed with locals, the organising committee is keen to replicate their success.
Live music, bar and food vans, a special kids corner and more will be set up on Naturaliste Terrace for the evening.

“This event is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate, and share what makes Dunsborough special, “Jacquie Happ, President Dunsborough & Districts Progress Association (DDPA) said.
She said the team was excited to see locals and visitors join in the festivities and experience the heart of the town.
“At the Dunsborough and Districts Progress Association, our goals are to encourage connection and strengthen community spirit and the Street Party achieves this with the added benefit of supporting local businesses,” Jacquie said.
“This is also the reason we joined the Town Team Movement when it started.”

Hosted by the DDPA and the Dunsborough Yallingup Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the party is supported by major sponsors City of Busselton and Plico Energy, as well as zone sponsors, Dunsborough Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank, Albion Solutions and Medela Health.
“We’re excited to be sponsoring the Kid’s Zone again this year and have a really exciting art installation planned for kids of all ages,” Holly Sharp from the Dunsborough Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank said.
“Being a part of a grass roots community event such as the Street Party means so much to our team as it aligns perfectly with our community driven values. We can’t wait to see everyone there.”
There is a particular focus on sustainability, with sponsors Plico Energy stepping in to help create waste-free and climate-friendly ideas for the party.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own cups and plates, and to take part in recycling as much as possible.
Leah Clearwater from Wayfinder Cellar Door & Restaurant said they were looking forward to taking part in the street party for the first time.
“Many of our team have attended the event in previous years, so to be in the midst of it in 2024 is a wonderful opportunity to engage with our community,” she said.
“The inside of the venue will be closed during the event so we can focus on serving delicious hotdogs and a selection of beers and wine in our alfresco bar.”
The Dunsborough Street party is on Friday November 22 from 5.00pm to 8.30pm on Naturaliste Terrace.
