Donnybrook have won the SWFL Elimination Final at Boyanup Oval on Saturday, defeating Augusta Margaret River by 72 points.
Archer Coates would get the home crowd up and about early, kicking the opening goal. Both defensive units would be well on top in the early stages with the the ball going from half back line to half back line.
At the fourteen minute mark, Cooper Clarke-Dehring imposed himself on the contest, kicking three goals in ten minutes, the first from deep in the pocket before two set shots, giving the Dons a 28 point lead at quarter time.
Will Cassidy kicked the Hawks opening goal early in the second quarter and they were starting to win some of the key contests, with Jake Rodgers and Max Spyvee getting plenty of possessions.
Within a blink of an eye, the ball found Ben Howlett who converted a set shot, before Clarke-Dehring kicked his fourth, before Jeff Smith kicked two goals to sink the Hawks.
The second half belonged to Smith and Howlett, with Smith kicking four goals for the half, while Howlett kicked a further three, and ran riot through the centre as the Dons extended the margin to 65 points at three quarter time before winning by 72 points.
The margin did nudge close to 100 points, with the Hawks kicking four late goals. Aside from Howlett and Smith, Luke Dale, Jy Bolton and Sam Perkusich played well, while the Hawks’ best were Max Spyvee, Linc Adams and Kieran Yakas.

Bulldogs advance to semi final
Bunbury will meet South Bunbury in the Second Semi Final next Sunday at Hands Memorial Oval, after the Bulldogs defeated Harvey Brunswick Leschenault at PC Payne Park on Sunday afternoon.
In front of more the 1500 fans, the bumper crowd were witness to a close contest with both sides having periods of ascendancy.
The opening quarter was goal for goal, the the Lions marginally ahead for the duration until just before the quarter time siren Xavier Williamson leveled the scores at 19 apiece at the first break.
The second quarter was just as tight, with Joel Houghton a focal point up forward, taking some strong marks.
Leading by three points at half time, no one in the crowd knew which way the match was going to pan out, and even at three quarter time when the margin was nine points, there was no real indication that one side was going to dominate the final term over the other.
Mackenna Taylor kicked two final quarter goals, which gave the Bulldogs the upper hand and despite a late goal to the Lions, the deficit would be too great. Dylan Heasman and Jesse Kirwen were particularly damaging for the Bulldogs, while Ty Anderson appeared to be everywhere for the Lions, while Jack Fletcher also played a good game.
Bunbury will now play South Bunbury for the third time this season, with the winner to go through to the Grand Final. HBL will play Donnybrook on Saturday in the first semi final.
