Deep dive into career changes and new beginnings

Inspire + Collaborate will host their final Signature Event for the year next month, with a deep dive into shifting career paths and navigating change.

The event will feature a panel of three local businesswomen – Maria Henderson from The Vow Sleepwear, Jemma Harrison from The Pourhouse and Har Bar, and Merchant + Maker’s Anna Momsen.

“Following on from our last event which focused on Life Balance, we head into our next Signature Event thanks to Rocky Ridge Taphouse,” explained Inspire + Collaborate’s Kelly Bunney.

“The theme for this event is ‘Purposeful Pivots’.

“Committee member Emily Meagher was inspired by a conversation she had with panelist Jemma Harrison at our last event.

“They chatted about Jemma’s journey that led her to owning The Pourhouse and Har Bar in Dunsborough. She knew there were plenty of other local women that had just as interesting stories.”

Inspire + Collaborate was established in partnership with the Busselton & Dunsborough Community Bank branch of Bendigo Bank and the Rural, Regional and Remote Women’s Network at the beginning of 2021.

“The purpose is to offer women in business here in the South West, that little extra – a little extra knowledge, a little extra motivation, a little extra sense of community and a little extra greatness in your ventures,” Ms Bunney said.

Events are held between Dunsborough and Busselton and include interviews with women in business, workshops, networking opportunities, as well as a “celebration of the strength and diversity of our regional community”.

“We have now started rolling out Lunch & Learn workshops in a smaller, more intimate setting at The Set in Vasse,” Ms Bunney said.

“These workshops allow us to dig a little deeper and get more hands on with guests around the topics we cover in the Signature Events.”

Purposeful Pivots is on Thursday September 14 from 5.30pm to 8.30pm at Rocky Ridge taphouse.
