Concert Band supports young performers on musical journey

The Margaret River Concert Band will be joined by some talented local performers at their next concert, to be held at the Margaret River HEART on Saturday October 12.

Kicking off at 7pm, the show will feature local renowned vocalists Andrea Frances Manners & Michelle Spriggs and introduce the talents of their upcoming vocal students – Sienna Harris, Lucy Kollman, Kaya Edwards, Ruby Pickersgill and Caitlin Young.

The band, under the direction of Geoff Ogden, will be supported by a number of professional musicians from the Southwest, and will be featuring Internationally acclaimed clarinettist Craig McLaren.

The concert will offer a variety of music including a classical concerto, show tunes, swing and even some disco, promising something for everyone.

The Band boasts a 23-year history of supporting community events and helping develop the experience and talent of young local musicians as they develop their skills.
