The Busselton Marine Art Group is preparing to unveil a collaborative art exhibition showcasing a diverse range of works by local artists who have been painting together for ten years.

On show at the Bond Store Gallery within the Old Courthouse Complex from 27 March until 20 April, ‘We Are Many Things’ celebrates creativity, friendship, and infinite opportunities for artistic expression.

This exhibition brings together the works of Vicki Austin, Lynne Boladeras, Cindy Collins, Dee Credaro, Rosie Johnston, Yvonne Johnston, Darryl Kelly, Gwen Plumb, Deb Robins, Gay Scaddan, Chris Seatory, Mitzi Smith, and Elizabeth Staite.

The group, formed by the talented Lynne Boladeras, and held together by camaraderie and shared passion, meets every Wednesday at Marine House, Busselton.

Over the years, the group’s artistic journey has been shaped by laughter, support, and a deep connection forged through creativity.

Diverse in both backgrounds and artistic styles, the group explores a wide range of mediums, including watercolour, acrylic, oil, water-soluble oil, pyrography, and ink.

Some members also venture outdoors for en plein air (in the open air) painting, capturing the beauty of nature.

‘We Are Many Things’ reflects the group’s artistic versatility and the richness of their lived experiences – stories, friendships, and the joy of creating together.
