Caravan & Camping Show on the way to Busselton

Tickets for the inaugural Busselton Caravan & Camping Show will go on sale tomorrow, Thursday August 8.
Tickets will go on sale for the inaugural Busselton Caravan & Camping Show this week, ahead of the two day event in September.
The Show will take place at Churchill Park on September 21 and 22, open from 9am to 4pm each day and showcase the best caravans, campers, trailers, equipment and accessories as well as information on destinations.
Organisers from the Caravan Industry Association Western Australia (CIAWA) said they developed the show following strong demand from consumers and the industry for a regional exhibition.
“We are delighted to open ticket sales for our inaugural Busselton Caravan & Camping Show,” CIAWA Chief Executive Officer, Carol McCracken said.
“The City of Busselton is a city by the sea where environment, lifestyle and opportunity meet, and therefore an ideal location.”
Ms McCracken said caravanning and camping was integral to the Western Australian way of life.
“Our industry contributes $2.6 billion annually to the WA economy and continues to demonstrate strong resilience in all market conditions,” she said.
“We encourage everyone to explore WA, discover our incredible backyard and immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes that make our state truly unique.
“Caravan and camping offer a fantastic lifestyle allowing you to live life to the full.”
Highlights of the event will include a Family Fun Zone with native animals, face painting, and giant lawn games included with entry tickets.
Local musicians Scott Pearce and Olive Mae will perform live, while Shelter Brewing Co will provide a selection of food and beverage options.
The Passport to Freedom Competition will give attendees the chance to win prizes including park vouchers, Shelter Brewing Co craft beer and more.
City of Busselton Mayor Phill Cronin said with Busselton recently named the State’s Top Tourism Town, there was no better place to hold the regional event.
“The show provides many affordable options to explore our beautiful country,” he said.
“Caravan and camping enthusiasts can expect displays from leading manufacturers and dealers, expert advice on hand, along with family friendly fun and activities, including the Show’s popular Passport to Freedom Competition, with some great prizes on offer.
“We look forward to welcoming exhibitors, industry experts and all those seeking travel and adventure.”
