Cape Harmony Choir on song for Christmas shows

A South West choir renowned for its stunning harmonies and captivating performances will present a specially-curated selection of Christmas classics at their annual festive season concert on December 7 and 8.
Singers of the Cape Harmony Choir are busy practicing a series of songs, from timeless Renaissance carols to the jubilant ‘Joy, Joy, Joy’ from the 17th century, a Christmas Cantata ‘What Sweeter Music’, as well as pieces by Purcell, JS Bach, Jay Althouse, Andrew Lloyd-Webber and more.
“We are very excited to share our love for Christmas music with the community,” Musical Director Cornelius de Munck said. “Our aim is to bring people together and spread joy through our performances, creating lasting memories for all who attend.”
Audiences can expect an afternoon celebrating the spirit of Christmas through the universal language of music, ushering in the warmth and magic of the season, including a festive afternoon tea.
Tickets can be purchased for $25 online at trybooking.com or at the door on the day (cash sales only please). Seating is unreserved.
The choir will perform on December 7 from 2pm at the Uniting Church, Kent Street Busselton and December 8 from 2pm at Our Lady of the Southern Cross, 40 Naturaliste Terrace Dunsborough.
