Brewhouse crew hosts annual birthday bash | Photos

The Margaret River Beer Co team hosted a monster birthday celebration to mark eight years in business after a busy year of development and growth.

Held last weekend at the Margaret River Brewhouse to a packed crowd of supporters, the event featured plenty of fun for the kids, as well as live music from Sunbird 3 and DJ Michael.

Margaret River Beer Co co-director Ilya Hastings said the annual birthday bash was a great time to reflect on what the Brewhouse means to the team and the local community.

“In short its been a crazy and satisfying 8 years of serving beer and food in a beautiful place that helps to make our punters happy and contented people,” he said.

“That side of it never gets tired and is at the core of what we are and will always be.”

The next stage of the business was revealed late last year with the opening of a purpose-built production facility on Station Road, as well as a change in company branding, which would allow expansion of their products into locations further-afield and for innovative brews to be developed into the future.

“While we are growing in the beer world with Margaret River Beer Co trucking our beers outside of home base, that couldn’t happen without having a place where we can serve our Margs community as first priority,” Hastings said.

“So yep, we are going to keep learning and giving it our best and can’t wait for what the year holds for us and our punters. Thanks so much to you all.”
