BHCI launched the fifth annual campaign to support its palliative care services in the South West.

“After the success of the record-breaking 2024 campaign, BHCI is aiming to raise $40,000 in 2025 to continue offering its volunteer-led programs such as hospice visiting to offer social and emotional support, complementary therapies, bereavement care, and community and carer education,” chief executive James Jarvis explained.

The colour-themed campaign has become a beloved South West tradition, engaging the community in innovative events.

Highlights from 2024 included the Inaugural Winter Solstice Plunge, and the Hash House Harriers’ Blue Dress Amble.

Beloved characters Bluey and Bingo will visit Origins Market (June 14), and CCC Cafe sessions on dementia, voluntary assisted dying, and elder abuse (June 9, 20 & 23).

The inaugural Bed Run will take place at the Busselton Health Campus (June 28) before the GBFJ Cocktail Night ‘Diamonds and Denim’ at the Hilton Garden Inn (July 5).
