'Bigger & bolder': Busselton Fringe program revealed

The full program has been released for the upcoming Busselton Fringe 2025, with organisers promising a bigger, bolder lineup of exciting performances.
Running throughout March, the festival will feature live music, comedy, burlesque, theatre, film, dance, and family-friendly events, bringing a vibrant mix of talent to Busselton’s best venues.
In collaboration with local partners Shelter, The Esplanade Hotel, The Hilton Garden Inn and the ‘Fringe Central’ the Old Courthouse Complex, Busselton Fringe continues to celebrate creativity, diversity, and community spirit, providing accessible, high-quality entertainment for all.
Festival highlights include the Fringe Fun Fest to open the festival on Saturday March 1, from 10am to 1pm at the Old Courthouse complex.
Expect live music, roving performers, workshops, and an outside broadcast by HIT Southwest, as well as a special live performance from Top 30 Australian Idol contestant, Kiedis Solberg.
Country music performer Emily Joy will take to the stage for two nights of live music on Saturday March 1, and Sunday March 2, while theatre lovers can enjoy Murder on the Magic School Bus (Sat 8 March) and Playing for Sheep Stations (Sun 16 March).
There are plenty of reasons to laugh with Bunbury Comedy Connect (Fri 7 March), Comedy Showcase – The Windmill Comedy Club (Sat 15 March) and Intellig-ant with Ant Meczes (Sun 16 March).
For those who like their fringe with a little spice, the Cabaret De La Crooked Whirls Another (Fri 14 March) is a mesmerising burlesque spectacle, while Dizney Debauched (Sat 15 March) promises a wickedly fun, adults-only burlesque twist on childhood classics.
Australia’s longest-running touring comedy film festival, will bring bold and boundary-pushing international short films to Busselton, with A World of Dark Comedy (Sat 15 March), before the Swing By The Bay closing event (Sat March 22) caps off the festival at the Old Courthouse Complex.
Featuring a local vintage jazz band, with canapés and a drink on arrival, this is a must-attend cocktail event to close out Busselton Fringe in style.
Throughout March, Busselton Fringe will also offer a range of workshops covering everything from performance and visual arts to circus skills and comedy.
