The town of Augusta will host its 57th Annual Art Exhibition this weekend, offering a huge range of works by talented local artists.
Led by the Augusta Art Club, the event will showcase works from 68 club members, created over the last twelve months with over 180 new works featured in the main hall and atrium of Centennial Hall.
Retrospective works will overflow into the other galleries, with hundreds of artworks for sale offering something for everyone.
The exhibition is a summer favourite for visitors keen to secure a one-off piece as part of their summer holidays as well as locals keen to celebrate the region’s creatives.
The event will begin at 6:30pm on Friday January 10, when it will be officially opened by Shire of Augusta Margaret River President, Julia Meldrum at 7pm.
Exhibition sales will continue Saturday January 11 from 10am to 5pm and Sunday January 12 from 10am to 4pm.
Entry is $5 per person and includes morning or afternoon tea.
