Busselton Jetty Inc is fundraising and has 100 jetty plates to go on cars, caravans, trailer or boats.
Chief executive Lisa Shreeve said they hoped to raise funds for the new Australian Underwater Discovery Centre by making up for some of the revenue they lost through the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The pandemic has really hurt us with international and interstate borders closed so we are looking at unique fundraising opportunities that people may like to get involved in and purchase something exclusive for themselves, family or friends in the lead up to Christmas," she said.
The design of the number plates range from 00 to 99, and highlight the new colours of the jetty brand featuring the four blue buildings known worldwide as the Jetty Interpretive Centre.
The licence plates will be auctioned at the jetty's annual general meeting on October 21 from 7pm at Shelter Brewery with tickets available from the jetty's website www.busseltonjetty.com.au
Members of the public can attend the AGM for $20 including drinks and canapes.
The auction reserve price for each number plate is $500.
