Talented local hosts are filling the airwaves with talk shows, music, news and interviews.
Chair of RMR Janine Carter said she was delighted with the success of the station.
"I'm so proud of the talented team at RMR. We have some great shows going to air which reflect the dedication, creativity and talent of our local community," she said.
"It's so nice to see our listener numbers climbing in response to the local content."
The station has built up a regular program of community focused shows and the weekly Community Callouts, What's On round-up and Gig Guide segments are already popular.
The last month has seen the station launch seven more new shows; 13 year old Ruby Ballard's Me and Gen Z on Mondays at 4pm, Fiona Horne's Sistars fortnightly at 10am on Wednesdays featuring talented South-West women, Dan White's Local Produce on Thursdays at 4pm followed by Psychotic Reactions with J Murray Cleary at 5.30pm, a celebration of the psychedelic era.
I'm so proud of the talented team at Radio Margaret River. We have some great shows going to air which reflect the dedication, creativity and talent of our local community.

On Friday nights at 7:00pm you can get your fix of club music on The Big Beat Manifesto with live DJ's Simo and Edlin and on Sundays at 1:00pm Ian Smith delves into the record collections on Take Me Back to deliver nostalgia from the 70's, 80's and 90's.
True to the station's commitment to local news and views, Station Manager Pip Mattiske and Music Curator Cate Worsely have launched Friday on My Mind - a magazine style chat show that touches on local issues and information.
Every month the show will feature an interview with a high profile member of the Augusta Margaret River Shire so if you have any questions or issues you'd like airing, send a text to RMR on 0460 780 538, send a message via the RMR Facebook page or email manager@radiomargaretriver.com
With programming now becoming such a big task, Pip Mattiske will move from Station Manager into a volunteer role to facilitate training and programme and content creation.
"Pip's radio background and passion for local content on RMR makes her the perfect person for this role," said Ms Carter. "We will soon seek a part time Station Manager with business and management experience to take RMR to the next level."
