Players and coaches from the Busselton Squash Club will be available throughout the day to have a game or two with visitors, to teach people about the sport and show them how to play.
Busselton Squash Club vice president Brian Roby said anyone was welcome at the courts.
“We have shift workers, we have office workers, we have doctors, policemen, people from all walks of life,” he said.
“Squash is an individual challenge, it is as hard as you want the sport to be.
“If you want to really push yourself to the absolute limit you can, if you want to get out there and take it easy and have a social hit, it is more than applicable to that type of person as well.”
Ladies captain and junior coordinator Chris Champ said the sport was something you could do all year round and was very affordable.
“It does not take a lot of time,” she said.
“If you just want to play for an hour you can, if you want to play for two hours you can.
“You can be part of a team or just come and play socially, and every level is welcome, so you have got every level catered for.”
The Busselton Squash Courts will be open from 10am to 3pm on July 9.
Visitors are encouraged to wear non-marking shoes or joggers. Racquets will be available at the courts.
